APPLICATIONS
- PVC Thermostat Cable is primarily used for power limited circuits such as thermostats, air conditioning, heat pumps, bell and alarm systems, signals systems, door bells and remote control units where the voltage does not exceed 30 volts. Temperature rating is -20°C to +60°C.
CONSTRUCTION
- PVC Thermostat Cable has a solid soft drawn copper, per ASTM. B-3.
INSULATION
- PVC Thermostat Cable has a heat and moisture resistant colored polyvinyl chloride PVC insulation.
JACKET
- PVC Thermostat Cable has an outer jacket of polyvinyl chloride PVC, which is heat, moisture and sunlight resistant. The jacket is available in either brown or white.
STANDARDS
- UL 13, CL2.
- NEC Article 725
