1829 Stampless Cover/Letter from Hawley, MA (Franklin County) to Chenango, NY

1829 stampless cover/letter from Hawley, MA (in Franklin County) to Chenango, NY.  The letter is dated October 14, 1829 (or October 19?), and it has been folded upon itself to form a cover for mailing purposes.  At the top left of the cover, it shows a handwritten notation which reads "Hawley, Ms.  Nov. 19," which is when and from where it was mailed, and at top right, there is a handwritten "18 3/4," which pertain to the delivery fee.  (It is interesting that this letter appears to have sat for at least a month before it was sent.)
It is a personal letter from a woman to her brother and sister.  To start, she begins by chastising them for not writing until she was "quite out of patience."  Then she goes into more than three pages of detail on the health and welfare of just about everyone she knows.  One person died of consumption; somebody else had cholera but recovered; someone else fell from a wagon and eventually died from a wound.  There was much talk of temperance and the dangers of alcohol.  The handwriting is quite good, so a full translation should be possible.
The cover is in overall very good, clean condition, with just a small hole from where the seal was opened and a small tear at bottom.  Nonetheless, it is a venerable piece ready to enhance any collection of early American postal history, particularly of the Massachusetts, Franklin County, or New York.
