    Postal History / Letter
    Stampless folded letter written March 7, 1854 by the Warner family in Geneva, Illinois (along the Fox River, west of Chicago) and sent to Mrs. Pamela Glauska in Warranville, DuPage County, IL.  Good content about family in the area, someone broke their neck in an accident and was killed, picked up relatives at the train station in nearby St Charles, IL and someone attending the Batavia (IL) institute.  Postmark is a black Geneva, IL circular date stamp with manuscript interior date and PAID 3 cent rate.
