  • Condition: 20 pounds of clean lead we have carefully melted down into 1lb ingots. My two sisters and I clean and triple flux the molten metal. We do this in 1000 lb batches (We use a commercial temperature controlled melting pot) and we test cast bullets to make sure that there is enough tin and antimony in the mix. Tin helps the molten lead fill every corner of your mold and antimony provides extra strength and hardness. This lead is suitable for casting bullets, jigs and fishing sinkers. The Bh of this lead will be about 12 as cast. You can harden bullets by water quenching. Remember to keep the heat up and preheat your molds for best results.
