    Description

    Bloomfield In July 20 (1825) manuscript cancel, manuscript 18 3/4 rate on stampless folded sheriff's summons to Hamilton County Ohio.  Court seal embossed inside.  The Bloomfield Indiana post office was opened May 28 1825 - this cover was mailed less than two months after the office became operational!  A classic Indiana stampless cover!
