How it works
When fusing large diameter pipe, the greatest length of time is spent waiting for the weld to cool.
The
Cool Pack
consists of a diesel powered air compressor that generates blowing air to create a tumbling effect on the fusion bead. This dissipates the heat in the center of the fusion weld at a much more rapid rate.
The
Cool Pack
requires no extra man power and works in conjunction with your existing fusion machine by attaching a halo to the fixed jaw. The halo introduces the air to the weld bead.
The
Cool Pack 36
is designed for the McElroy 824, T630, 1236 and T900 fusion machines.
