In total, weighing just 12 ounces (0.75 pounds) this ultralight shovel provides a perfect balance between lightweight and usability; use it to easily stir a fire, pull out a tin foil dinner from the coals, or dig a trench (No more need to use that worthless handheld trowel, or carry an overweight folding military shovel). It can also be used as a compact shovel to keep in your car, boat or ATV for emergencies to clear out snow and ice, get out of the mud, or working in the garden. The shovel comes with a hardwood handle pole 21 inches (54 cm) long, and a custom quick release push button pin. The shovel head is 5 inches wide (13 cm) and 9.5 inches (24 cm) long. When the shovel head is connected to the handle, it has a length of 28 inches (72 cm). The handle easily collapse from the shovel head for compact storage. The handle pole fits perfectly inside a regular size hiking backpack.
