Vintage 1950's Replogle Magnetic Global Air Race Game 8" Tin Globe w/Box

Description

Vintage 1952 magnetic global air race game by Replogle Globes, Inc. in the original box.
The magnetic global air race game is an exciting and realistic game. Players use miniature airplanes to fly around the world on a genuine world globe. Airplanes are magnetized so they stick firmly to the metal globe.
Object of the game is to circle the globe, landing only in airports identified by red dots.
The first player to arrive back at the starting point is the winner.
To travel, players use play money and fuel supplied by the bank.
The globe is in very good condition with the original tag with some light rust on the bottom edge.
There are four airplanes but the green one needs a new magnet put on it, play money, gasoline drums, and chance cards.
Instructions are included.
The yellow insert I believe was a store display.
The box is not in good condition. It is ripped down one side and halfway down the other side and dirty.
