Vintage Marx Tin Lithographed Howitzer Toy Cannon For Stand-Up Tin Soldiers

This is a very nice tin lithographed toy howitzer / field gun cannon that was made in the late 1940s or 1950s. From what I can see, this was used with the tin stand-up lithographed toy soldiers that you could knock down. I believe the cannon fired a wood toy shell at the targets. It measures 8" long and is lithographed completely. Has the Marx logo on the left side. The barrel is adjustable up and down. It is spring-loaded. When you pull back the lever, you can release it and it would propel a small wood bullet.
Note: I also have 20 of the tin soldier targets that went with this cannon on my eBay. This is how I bought them and I assume they went together.
